What is Qigong?

 

Qigong is an accessible practice for improving energy, health, and happiness through gentle, flowing exercises suitable for all ages and abilities. It combines circular movements that enhance stability, coordination, and energy flow with standing exercises that promote healthy posture, energy storage, and longevity.

 

The practice includes meditation, a vital component that trains the mind to focus, cultivate calmness, and build emotional resilience. Such mindfulness fosters the freedom to choose how we perceive and respond to life’s challenges, echoing the wisdom of Viktor Frankl, a renowned psychiatrist and Holocaust survivor who said:
